Xenith - X1 Footbal Helmet

State of the art football helmet technology designed to reduce concussive episodes.

Xenith helmets have a leading technology to greatly reduce instances of concussive episodes. The inner bonnet is loaded with air cushion cells, which contain a constant air reservoir against the scalp with a controlled release of air between the helmet and outer shell. The chin straps on the X1 Football Helmet are connected to the "Fit Seeker" cable, which is woven throughout the flexible Shock Bonnet inside the helmet.

A more intuitive, low cost and durable solution regarding the relationship between the chin cup, strap and cable needed to be investigated.

Role: Lead Industrial Designer for Concept Ideation and Refinement phases

Subsequent refinement was completed by Xenith team members.
